It’s not you, it’s them. There is nothing wrong with you. Hold fast to the dreams everyone tells you are fantasies, you only live once, so make it count. Don’t stay up at night wondering if you’ll have to leave where you are. Remember that you deserve to feel at home, and if you don’t, it’s through no fault of your own. Trust your instincts about the neighbor boy who scares you, don’t let him teach you anything. Don’t get on that train to Dire, it’s not the right time for you to leave home. Soon, someone will come into your life and want to make it mean something. Trust him, you won’t be wrong.
Someday, you’ll want to strike out on your own and really pursue your unrealistic dream. Don’t let your fears hold you back. Don’t worry about bullshit such as “organic” and “synthesized” happiness. If you feel good, feel good. If not, reject whatever it is that’s causing the pain. Don’t ever compromise on that.
